Over the last two decades I've been a software entrepreneur, a strategy consultant and a company executive. One thing runs through all three: I am a relentless problem solver, and I enjoy working on what matters. More about how I got here on the about page.

I start from a real problem
I look for problems people want solved. Then I work out what fits: one job, no bigger than it needs to be.
I build it, then I run it, making sure the problem stays fixed and helping where more is needed.
The problems I take on are very diverse, and the domains change with them. I have always enjoyed switching context.
When I start something there are only two questions: is there a real problem that needs solving, and am I the right person to fix it. Getting those right is the most important part of my job. It is what stops me wasting your time, or mine, on something nobody needs.
